Missing. Events beyond our control.
Nothing like a person disappearing. Nothing like a person disappearing from a local area where you live. In a game this is curious and builds the path of what the characters do and maybe solve. In real life, this is a horrible event to know someone and then they disappear. They cannot be found. There are things left behind. A few clues. Parents with no closure on what happen to their child.
Recently in our community here in Hamilton, Ohio, a missing person alert went out. The young man has been missing since 2011. The case is considered a cold case now. As time goes on, it gets hard to find a person missing and hope grows faint with each passing day the person will be found, if at all.
The “U Can Speak for Me” organization created in 2007 by Hope Dudley, has delivered cases of playing cards with cold case information on them, to Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. Decks have been distributed to jails in Butler County, Ohio and will eventually be distributed to all 30 prisons in Ohio.
Currently, this set of cards will feature Hamilton, Ohio’s Billy DiSilvestro who is the missing man from 2011. The clues for the cold case are as followed. He was last seen 2/7/2011 on 200 block of Ross Avenue. His age in 2011 was 28. He did not have his cell phone, no money, or medication on his person when he disappeared.
Any clues, leads, or and other information can be obtained from the Hamilton Police Department, Hamilton, Ohio.
