Camping. Is there a nearby camping site that allows tents and/or campers?
Couch surfing. Check out the local couch rental, bed and breakfast, sleeping areas to rent.
Airport. Is there a sleeping area there? Most hotels have shuttles from airports and back. Get a lift.
Sleep on the floor while waiting for your turn. Some turf under tables, so watch where you put your feet when you sit down.
Hotel chairs/couches to rest your eyes.
Library rest areas...you already have your gaming books.
Rest areas. Park and sleep is common. Remember your safety rules.
Then, drive there and back every day. Sleep in your own bed. Splurge on the box of chocolates for your pillow.
